3D ANIMATION AND MODELING

Build the assets behind digital worlds.

The Digital World-Building Layer

Beyond Animation

3D is more than animated characters or finished images. It is the production capability used to create objects, characters, environments, materials, movement, simulations, visualizations, and real-time worlds.

The same underlying capabilities now move across animation, film, visual effects, games, virtual production, tourism, cultural heritage, simulation, architecture, advertising, immersive experiences, education, and live events. Saudi Arabia is building industries that require digital worlds. 3D is the capability used to construct them.

Explore Your Strengths

Where You May Fit

Some people are drawn to characters and performance. Others notice shape, proportion, materials, movement, environments, technical structure, procedural systems, lighting, or the way a digital world is assembled.

The program introduces students to animation, modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, Unreal Engine, procedural thinking, environment production, character production, look development, simulation, and production-ready asset delivery. Students do not need to arrive with a final specialization. Applied work helps reveal whether they are strongest in form, motion, world-building, visual development, real-time production, simulation, or technical delivery.

What Students Build

Students create models, characters, environments, animation studies, textured assets, lighting setups, rendered images, Unreal Engine scenes, procedural systems, simulations, look-development work, breakdowns, portfolio evidence, and production-ready asset packages.

The program culminates in a focused portfolio or reel demonstrating a declared direction in modeling or animation. Students must show how their work was researched, structured, revised, optimized, documented, and prepared for presentation or downstream use. AI-supported tools may assist with ideation, reference, texture exploration, workflow testing, and production communication, but judgment and authorship remain with the student.
